In Wicked Woman (1953), the six foot one tall platinum blonde Billy (Beverly Michaels) plays a cocktail waitress who seduces sexy barkeep Matt (Richard Egan) out of his mind and morals. Not only that, but she uses and abuses her seedy boarding house neighbor Charlie (Percy Helton) when convenient.
Still, as Herb Jeffries sings the end of the title song in the final scene, you can't help but simultaneously admire and feel sorry for this tough dame who just tries to get by the best way she knows how. And ends up right back where she started, on a bus going nowhere in particular.
The scene that sticks out in my mind is when she smells a juicy steak cooking across the hall, and she flirts her way into her creepy neighbor's room, hoping for a tasty morsel. She towers over creepy Charlie, staring lasciviously at the cooking steak, as he grins up at her the same way.
This next scene shows Billy being a good girl to her boss Dora (Evelyn Scott), then being smitten by the boss' bartender husband Matt, and not hiding it very well...
