Rent DVD Movies Through AmazonWatch Film Noir Videos ASAP!You can rent DVD movies online through Amazon's Video On Demand feature, now called Amazon Instant Video. So far the film noir selection is pretty scanty, but this will most likely grow over time. You don't even have to download large movie files to your hard drive. And you don't need special video player software. Using Adobe Flash Player on your PC or Mac, you can watch the film through your browser. Either stream the video online to watch immediately, or save it in your library to watch within the rental period, which varies. To get instant access, just choose the "Watch Now" feature. You can watch the film or video directly on your computer via Windows Media Center PC, on your TV using the XBox 360, or on your TV hooking up the computer to it. Or watch it with a compatible connected TV or other device. And I think several more ways have recently been added as well. It's hard to keep up! Not all movies for rent are available to watch in all ways. When you find a film noir you are interested in, click on "product details", then "compatible with" to find out what your options are for that particular video. Some videos can be streamed, some downloaded, and some both. And more titles are being added all the time. What's cool is there is usually a little trailer or preview you can watch for free. Then, when you find the one you want, go to the "Product Detail" page and click on "Buy" or "Rent". Then follow the instructions to pay. All the videos you buy are stored in your Amazon Video Library, where you can watch now or later offline. Find out all the details you'd ever want to know about ordering Amazon Instant Video! It seems like most of the film noir videos available to rent are for $1.99 or $2.99, while they are mostly $9.99 to buy. But that varies. If you are an Amazon Prime member, the Instant Video feature is now included in your membership. At $79 a year for unlimited streamed videos, that's pretty good, but make sure they have enough movies available that you would want to see. Their film noir selection doesn't cut it as of now. Please note: things are changing very fast, especially with regard to technical specs, so please do your own homework before ordering, to make sure your devices are compatible, etc.
