Greencine.com is a major Netflix competitor when it comes to film noir rentals. They have a much smaller selection of DVDs to choose from, only about a quarter of what Netflix offers, but their selection is arguably better for true cinephiles.

Greencine does have a Film Noir section, and it's even divided into Neo Noir and Vintage Noir subcategories. If you sign up, you'll also have access to lots of other cool genres and subgenres, such as experiemental, fantasy, foreign, cult classics and independent film.

You can also rent DVD movies through Amazon, and though Greencine doesn't offer PC downloading of movies as Netflix does, or instant streaming like Amazon, their selection beats both in spades!
