These film noir classic movie reviews aren't fully fleshed reviews in the traditional sense, but more like mini-reviews of some particular (or peculiar) aspect of each film.

When I watch a film noir, I like to be struck by something unique or unusual not typically found in other films. That's what's great about RKO--their films tend to be more raw and exciting than slicker, polished films of other studios. An unexpected line of dialogue, an odd twist of fate, an unbridled emotion born of previously repressed desire...it's the little quirks that make a film noir memorable and re-watchable.
